Weekly Devotion: Thankfulness-A Powerful Tool

 For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.

-James 3:16

Being jealous and selfish are two very hard tendencies to fight. It’s instinctively in all of us, and usually happens subconsciously. Jealousy and selfishness pave the way to disorder in our lives. In other words, it deteriorates you. It turns you into something you will not like. More than anything, try to be aware of its presence. Then, try to work against it with thankfulness. We just celebrated Thankfulness yesterday. It will be your most powerful tool against jealousy and selfishness.
