A Poem A Day #300

I’m told everyday
To be better at being me.
Yet I find that ironic,
When it’s something they can’t see.
If it’s me they want,
They needn’t bother to tell.
After all, it’s not them
They’re trying to sell.
But, look, that’s the kicker.
Why must there be a sale?
I already like myself,
Every last detail.
