A Poem A Day #192

I Battle the World

Today it rained,
And tomorrow, sunlight.
But it wouldn’t have rained
If I had just won the fight.
You see, I battled the world
Today; I battle the world
Everyday. And it threw
A good punch that swept me
Off my feet. But I insist;
I plant myself and have a seat.
Even if tomorrow
It sends me crawling,
I’ll be right back at it.
My fists were made for brawling.
