Here Comes an Idea
Here comes an idea.
It’s like a nuclear bomb.
It thunders into my head;
It’s the storm before the calm.
My thoughts are all a jumble,
And I begin to lose my mind.
I must collect them all together
And make them polished and refined.
It’s hard to know
Just when the light bulb will appear.
But I’ve learned to watch with care,
And I’ve remembered to hear.
