A Poem A Day #27

So Cold

The chill air sweeps over the city.
It’s so cold.
My nose and lips numb;
I’m so cold.
The frost, the snow, the sleet;
So cold.
Men’s hearts, women’s lies,
They’re so cold.
Cruel wind, cruel minds;
So cold.
Laughter and sorrow,
Joy and sadness,
Hope and loss;
All so cold.
